Hi Seattlegirl,

well, I wrote you a long and eloquent reply, and naturally the internet ate it - long story short was, lots of folks aren't happy cutting the coffee, just add a little extra water to offset caffeine's water-retaining effects.

Cut back if you can, I like Trader Joe's half-caf, and I try to match each cup of coffee with a cup of water, in addition to the water you're supposed to drink.

Good luck!

Seattlegal,

Welcome!!!

Yes, you can have 1 tsp. of maple syrup OR honey per day.

At every meal you may have either 2 pkts. of sugar,Sweet'N Low, EquaL,OR Splenda. The RD highly recommends that we do not use artificial sweeteners,
BUT if we "have to have" them....these are the amounts allowed.

Good luck....and happy ricin',
