I AM NEW TO THE RICIN'. I AM ON MY SECOND WEEK AND I'M DOWN 10 LBS SO FAR. AFTER WORK, I WALKED AROUND A LAKE IN TOWN (ALMOST 5 MILES) THEN FELT SO MUCH ENERGY I WENT HOME & CUT GRASS! YOU GUYS ARE RIGHT....THIS DIET DOES GIVE YOU ENERGY! HAPPY RICIN'!!!!!!

Glad everything is going so well for you! Where are you from? I too have a lake in town and I would guess it is about five miles. What a coincidence! I'm in a small town outside of Knoxville, Tennessee. Are we neighbors, by chance?

I GOT IT LATE LAST NIGHT....AND YOU ARE 100% RIGHT! IT WAS GREENFIELD LAKE! I LOVE IT SOOO MUCH. I USED TO GO OUT THERE AND WALK DAILY, BUT MY JOB HAS STOPPED THAT OVER THE PAST SEVERAL YEARS. m-a-n-y years ago!!! I also have 3 sisters that graduated from there!!!

Are you originally from Wilmington?

Oh, my gosh, Novella. My younger sister graduated from Hoggard in 1977 !!!! When I saw your name on the forum........it had crossed my mind that you might be the Novella from her past. (Beings how you just don't hear the name Novella very much!) How cool would it be if you were her??!?!?

I have actually called Karen right now and have her on the phone . If you are her, she said that she has been trying to find you for years!!! (Are your daughter's names Tonya and Crystal?)

This is THE MOST amazing thing I have ever heard of!!!!
Out of the 100's (maybe 1,000's) of people on the RD & forum, we start talking etc. and find out that you are the "one and only" Novella from Karen's past!!!! OMG!!!
And that you both have been looking for each other for years and now because of the RD, you have found each other, finally after all these years. (almost 20 yrs....right?)

Karen called me tonight and said that your "reunion" was great!!! She loved the pictures from you two's past! I couldn't believe it when she said you 2 had started the RD on the same day.......and had lost the same amount of weight!!!! (How cool is that?)

I am so-o-o-o glad you all had a good 1st visit after 2 decades!!!

Well, I am sure I will talk to you again (here and on the phone !)

YOU CAN SHARE IT WITH EVERYONE! THE REUNION WAS AWESOME. KAREN FIGURED IT OUT & IT'S BEEN 19 YEARS SINCE WE'VE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH EACH OTHER. WE HAD SOOOO MUCH CATCHING UP TO DO. AGAIN, I CAN NEVER THANK YOU ENOUGH GIRL. NOT ONLY ARE YOU THE STRENGTH BEHIND THE RICE DIET FOR EVERYONE I TALK WITH, YOU'RE A GREAT FRIEND!
