Hi Mimkim-
I don't have any Boca Burgers so I looked them up on-line. You can check your box to see if my numbers agree withe the information on the box. My information said that one Boca Burger has 8 g of carbohydrate, 1 g of fat, 18 g of protein, and 100 calories. I don't have the sodium information but it would be good to know. The numbers are similar to 1/4 cup beans which count as a protein or 1/3 cup beans which count as a starch. A serving of protein is 55 calories and a starch is 80 calories. A serving of protein should have 51 mg of sodium while a starch only has 2-5 mg. Maybe someone who regularly eats these will chime in. If not, you can always check with Jayne.
Sorry that I don't have better information.
We're glad to have you on the forum.

Off the 4-burger box of Boca Burgers (Original Vegan Meatless style) that I get from Walmart, these being smaller than the burgers in the larger economy size sold in Sam's Club etc, here's the nutritional data: 1 burger 71g = 70 calories, 0.5g total fat, 280mg sodium, 340mg potassium, 6g total carbohydrate, 4g dietary fiber, 0g sugar, 13g protein. Due to the sodium level, I tend to eat a Boca Burger only once a week, if that often. Why can't manufacturers of healthy foods keep the sodium levels low enough to be actually healthy??
Peace,

I don't eat boca burgers at all, I worry about the sodium, especially with 2 slices of bread. My appetite is very sensitive to sodium stimulation and I am working hard at not buying processed food, despite their incredible convenience and try cooking instead, to make things more simple and tame my desires.
DH makes the best sourdough bread, but if I start, then I want a little b'nut butter and jam on it, and then maybe one slice with butter and honey, oh, and then wouldn't a little melted cheese be great, oh, cheese, well why not add some red wine and then off I go, out of control. then, follow it with a nap. Lordy mercy me! S.
