When I've been in Durham, an oldtimer will often bring up the escapades of Buddy Hackett when he was there. Some of them sound impossible but they're always hilarious. I saw the following quote attributed to him this past weekend:
"Everytime I hear the word exercise, I wash my mouth out with chocolate."
Sounds like words from someone who would keep things hopping. Thanks for being here.

Just reading those words about chocolate makes me want to go out in the kitchen and grab a handful of chocolate chips.
My willpower is almost non-existent today. .... actually that's no different from any other day. If Buddy Hackett was at the Rice House, I bet he kept the place in an uproar at all times. Bonnie
