Yes it was fun rereading that thread, it was written over two years ago - but everything about it is still the same today. We had a MUCH larger potato crop this Summer, mostly the red variety. Ended up with boxes and boxes of them that we're storing in our cellar hatch-way which has a much better temperature for keeping potatoes than the heated cellar does. Also storing our squash, carrots and beets in the same area. I STILL love being as self-sufficient as possible. Bonnie
