Today I cracked through to the 50s I was 259.0 this morning, I was really tickled. I am hoping to reach to 250 or a little lower by April.
And on another development for the long timers who may remember... I have one of those Health Riders of which I was never properly alble to use as it was to difficult for me to get my leg up high enough to put my foot on the pedals. Well I can now,. I have used it twice, and only gently as it does seem to be a bit painful for my kness. Left one in particular. But If I use my arms more to pull rather than push with my legs it works fairly well and I get a good extension of my body. in 150 pull/pushes I can work up a bit of a sweat and definitely get a faster heart rate going. Going to be working up the reps.

Good going Cat, It's always a pleasure to drop down into a lower set of numbers. I started over again Tuesday after I got home from my blood lab follow-up at the Doctors. My weight just kept inching up and I couldn't seem to commit myself to eating properly. I think of Oprah saying, "What are you HUNGRY for?" and I think of you saying that you've learned to use food as only fuel for the body, NOT for other reasons. I've been very faithful for the past three days in using my treadmill for exercise, it's getting easier every day. I'm keeping track of my menu's and following them. I'm down a couple of pounds and WILL continue eating correctly. Keep reporting in - it keeps me on track and I love hearing about every pound that you lose. Hugs to you too. Bonnie

Bonnie it is so difficult to get into that mindset, I heard or read something somewhere that indicted it takes 21 days to stop a habit or to make new connections in the brain to do something and that is part of how I got the food as a reward out of my head,. I committed 21 days to following the "plan" to the letter.. no matter what, and the impulse to snack or crave something that was not good for me lessened so much. Kind of like quitting ciggies.. though I did that cold turkey... Ummm Turkey!! lol!! oh never mind.. snicker.
HUGS got to get the kid ready for her time out with the CIP and I will have a chance to take a nice soak in the tub!
Cat the Brat. (sometimes) Ha!
