Got in 20 minutes of intervals on the elliptical, then I went to physical therapy...right foot, ankle, shin, knee and hip-it's ugly, don't ask...and finished up with an hour of water aerobics. I've been trying to get to the gym 5 days a week instead of my usual 3, but my work schedule keeps changing and it's not always easy to get it in. Now that the weather is changing for the better, I can at least get a walk in on days I don't make it to the gym.

I did the killer Russian Kettlebells today. Wow, it kicks my @#$. and it is working. poor dh can't do it, or keep up : - )
I am proudly down 21 lbs, the last 3 took FOREVER. Now, only 50 more to go to be healthy weight. Good news, I can cross my legs now. thank goodness for small victories and I know I should protect my hips and not cross my legs, but at least I can. Now just waiting until I can sneeze without clinching in advance, that will be a day to celebrate!
Having Kitties refried beans today with salsa cruda, home made and spinich and corn torilla's toasted on the gas flame. Can't wait. S.

OH MY GOODNESS Leeney!!! Whatever in the world is wrong with all those body parts!!! So sorry but if you can exercise with all that going on you are INCREDIBLE!!! You give me hope that I can do it too!

Thanks for your concern, Rhonda. It's really not as bad as I probably made it sound. I was bothered by shin splints so went to the doc to check it out. He referred me to PT and what I discovered there is that my feet are naturally stiff. I can't really flex them the way 'normal' feet flex. This puts extra stress on the outside of my leg, and the inside muscle is underdeveloped. Anyway, because it's a chronic condition and it's all connected, all the adjoining pieces parts feel out of whack as well. I can still get in a good work out, but I guess I'm going for optimal.
I know you can do it too. I don't have a lot going for me at my age, but what I am good at...and you are too...is persistence.

Leeney! You are too funny! Yeah, persistence we both have. But I am lousy at dropping weight efficiently. Sorry about your feetsies. I have foot issues too! Probably need to have some therapy as well but I am too stubborn to go to the Doc! And I am persistent at that also!
