Hi all I'm back on my feet but after being sick for almost a week I am having a heck of a time with my walking. I can't believe how quickly my stamina disappeared....I walked the last two evenings and usually my husband and I do an hour at a pretty good clip....I was barely able to walk for a half hour and I felt like I was moving at a turtle's pace. It was really painful but my wonderful hubby kept my mind off of every ache and pain so that I could make it through the walk. I'm hoping that I'll be back to speed by the end of this week...I have a weight loss goal for the month of August that I want to reach and I know that my walking will help make that goal! I hope that everybody is having a good weekend!! Happy ricing

Dana,
Glad you are back and out walking. Sounds like you have had a rough time being down an entire week! I remember about 39 pounds down into the RD I had a gall bladder attack (severe) and had to go to the ER around midnight and early the next morning it was surgery for this woman! I remember it took a full week to feel stronger after that. So, take it easy and glide right back into it. I believe you will find the RD will build your stamina quickly. GOOD LUCK!

Rhonda,
Last night was easier and we walked for about 45 minutes. Did not feel that I could make a full hour but it was good to work past the 30 minute mark. My cough is a little bit better today so I feel better and finally got a full night of sleep so I feel a 95% better today. Its the pitts to be sick and after some health scares I have to say I try to never take me health for granted.
Good news today, my oldest who graduated from college in June with a degree in sociology just got offered a job. She is excited and a bit relieved, so many people are looking for work and she got a couple of rejections which can be a blow to your self esteem. She is happy and looking forward to her training this week.
Take care,
Dana

Congrats to your daughter Dana, yes it is a miracle that these kids these days are finding jobs with this dumb economy! Glad you are out and about. Sounds like you are on the mend and almost have this bout of whatever behind you! YAY!
