This movie was recommended on another site I belong to. It's about an hour in length and is free to view for only one week...until Oct. 8. It looks at food and vitamins as the solution to (lifestyle) diseases and how pharmaceutical companies control what is available to us. If you are convinced that food is medicine, watch this one.

The full movie is located here:

wow Leeney, thanks for sharing! Just watched it. Going to go to www.foodmatters.tv and see what all I can learn. I learned watching this how niacin and just 2 handfuls of cashews per day can help cure depression. I am impressed!

This was a very interesting and informative movie, Thanks Leeney for posting a link to it!

There are many things in it that I *wholly agree with* and a few things that they touched on that, well I take with a grain of salt. BUT over all, a lot of truth, I got my husband to watch it with me and we had some thoughtful discussion on some of the information.

The movie is certainly worth seeing that is for sure,

Leeney,

I just finished watching this movie last night. I thought it was awesome. I was not feeling well so I stayed home while my husband and son went to a friends house for dinner. When they came back they said, there was nothing you could have eaten. Swiss cheese fondue with french bread, salami, proscuitto ham, and 3 different ice creams for dessert. So, I made myself a very nutritious dinner and sat and watched the movie.

I went to their website and looked for local organic produce. I found a place that gets all this local organic in season produce and you order online and pick what you would like that is in season. You pay online and then you can pick it up at various health food type places near where you live. It just so happens, that one of the locations, Natural Foods Warehouse is right next door to the gym I go to. So, I placed my order.

Thanks for finding and sharing this movie.

Lauretta
