Hello all,

I am the former poster Recommitted, I have chosen to come back again. Tomorrow will be the start of my next and final journey toward becoming healthy.

Long story short. I lost a lot of weight using rice diet about 7 years ago, life took some twists and turns and now I'm back.

My grocery store has their produce and Veggie's very discounted on Wednesdays, thus...tommorow is day 1! Here we go!

How wonderful to see you back again! I remember your remarkable story from years ago and what an active part of the forums you were. Sometimes we come and sometimes we go, but there is no denying that the RD works and is here for you when you need it. Good to hear from you again.

Hugs, Leeney

Very true Leeney, My main goal this time is to get healthy! Health is more important than weight loss. I've learned that since my last time here.

I enjoy feeling healthy...time to live that way!

I absolutely agree! Weight loss is a by product of the care we give ourselves.

I am right there with you! I followed the rice diet to the letter for three years, I was healthier than I had ever been...but as you stated life happens and I got off track. I watched my weight continue to inch up and up, I don't feel well a lot of the time and can't not believe I have let myself get to this place. I am commiting to my healthy rice diet lifestyle once again. At 47 weight seems to stick to me like glue but I am determined to reach a level of good health and energy that I had when I was at my optimal weight and eating things that were good for me! Good luck to both of us!!!
